Name Tag

After going through ICPD, where we learnt how to use Fusion 360, I feel more confident remaking the name tag again. This time around, I used more letters, from “CG” to “Cherbel” as well as changing the format from the default, arial, to this font I found more appealing.

I feel, after having a small amount of experience, the experience went quite quickly. After making the rectangle, I made the corners curved, added a circle, and text.

After finishing the sketch, I extruded the name tag to give it volume.

After extruding the body of the name tag, I extruded the border as well as the text. I found that this font separated the text into two so I could have made them different heights, which was something that I did not even think to do. I think that thinking outside the box would be useful for next time using this software to make more use of it.

Here is a picture of the finished name tag (in shape) without the sketch.

I then tried to change the colour to this red to make it look nicer.

Here is the finished product!

Thank you for reading!
